Flying Area:
The field is
19 km before the border between the provinces of Mendoza and San Juan, in the
west part of Argentina. The entrance to the field is at the National road
number 40 - km. 3372.
From the city
of Mendoza to the entrance to the field are 72km. - 55 minutes.
Geographic
coordinates: 32º19’59.0”S 68º31’35.2”W.
FAI mark signs
are going to be on the road to get to the flying area.
Competition rules:
Competition
will be held according to the FAI Sporting Code valid in 2020.
Each
competitor must have a valid FAI sporting license (entered in FAI Sporting
license database).
Local rules:
Competitors
act as a timekeepers. Timing between competitors on each starting pole.
The organizer
will randomly check the timekeepers.
Entry applications:
All entry
applications must arrive no later than 1st of April, using web
application form.
Entry Fee:
Single class
35 EUR, juniors 25 EUR. Additional class 15 EUR, juniors 10 EUR.
Registration:
Friday, 24th
of April, 21:00 to 23:00. Place in future information.
Saturday, 25th
of April, 16:00 to 19:00 on the field. (F1B, F1C, F1Q).
Contests Schedule:
• Friday, 24th
of April: arrival, practice, and registration (20:00 to 22:00 – Place in future
information).
• Saturday, 25th
of April, F1A contest day.
Round 1 – 8:30
– 9:30 (max. 240 s).
Round 2 – 9:30
– 10:30 (max. 180 s).
Round 3 – 10:30
– 11:30 (max. 180 s).
Round 4 – 11:30
– 12:30 (max. 240 s).
Round 5 – 12:30
– 13:30 (max. 180 s).
Round 6 – 13:30
– 14:30 (max. 180 s).
Round 7 – 14:30
– 15:30 (max. 180 s).
Fly-off from
17:00 – 19:30
If the fly-off
does not finish the same day, we will continue it next morning at 8:00, before
start the next competition.
Prize giving
ceremony will be held on the flying field after fly-off.
Registration
at the field for F1B, F1C and F1Q from 16:00 to 19:00.
The round duration, max flight time, Fly-off schedule maybe change
depending on weather conditions.

Prizes
Cup awards for
best three overall ranked competitors and the best three ranked juniors in each
class.

Jury members
will be announced before start of competition.

Protests:
Protest should
be submitted in written form to the contest director no later than 30 min.
after the criticized event and accompanied with a deposit of 35€.
Insurance:
Competitors
take part in competition entirely at their own risk and responsibility.
